Small branch but good service term time. Restricted hours out of term. Update 9/5/18 - Now found out closing for good leaving just one bank at University Colchester campus
Not very good at times plus for any major question they just advise you to go to the main branch!

This is what you call a back with great customer service. My partner has just opened an account here and he said to me why don't i come with him to an appointment. I went along and WOW. Customer service and interaction with customers is just fab. I am with another bank at present who are also really good. Its nice to see banks that actually care. Well done :)
The staff are very helpful. They know all of their regular customers. It has recently been totally transformed and queuing for a long time is a thing of the past. Its very easy to get information.

excellent service and professional dentist. very pleased with the service provided by dentist. dentist is very thorough with exceptionally calm attitude and has a lovely smile which made me more relaxed. always ready to fit me in when i am in pain. overall thumps up and do recommend to all.
I was waiting outside for them to open with chronic toothache on a Monday morning with no appointment in agony. They ushered me in upon opening and said I was welcome to wait and they would see me as soon as a slot was available. Before my behind had barely touched the seat I was whisked away and not even ten minutes later was pain free and minus an infected molar. Speedy and professional service and I am eternally grateful that I was accommodated so quickly and kindly.

I came to Prettygate dental as I had been having problems for months that my previous dentist did not resolve. Service was brilliant, the dentist gave me antibiotics which helped immediately with the pain, did a filling and referred me for wisdom tooth removal. He was knowledable and very helpful in resolving my problems. Fantastic experience after much frustration with my previous dentist. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone needing a dentist in the Colchester area. Thank you prettygate dental
Very good dentist

I am so pleased I found this dental surgery. Everyone from the receptionists to the dental surgeons are so friendly and professional and for the first time in a while I am happy to return to the same practice knowing they will do the very best for me. I would definitely recommend North Hill dental practice (& have recently done so).
Amazing staff, very lovely and polite reception team. Excellent telephone manner, helpful in arranging a convenient appointment time. Nurses and Dentist are so caring and bubbly. Dr. Sedani is amazing dentist I've ever come across no BS straight to point. Quick and efficient, saw me at short notice and sorted everything out. 11 out of 10.

While some of my friends and family find it difficult to find a doctor willing to listen to them and to suggest more than taking paracetamol, I found here one of the best GPs I have ever talked to. Dr. Claire Cooper always pays attention, takes one's worries seriously, listens carefully and sent me for future medical investigations every time it was the case. I think she does a brilliant job and I am happy that there are still people like her in the NHS.
52 Wimpole Rd, Colchester CO1 2DL, UK – 01206 794794
I've had excellent and thorough care from the GPs I've seen at Wimpole Road Surgery.
Found this surgery to be very good! The Receptionists are very friendly and welcoming and take time with patients. The doctors and nursing staff listen to the ailments which are troubling you and recommend different options. Have had many health problems and these have been treated well and involved specialist treatments. The one doctor I found condescending and rude was a female elder doctor who has thankfully now left. Wonderful place and the fact you can book appointments and prescriptions online makes life easier.
76 Ambrose Ave, Colchester CO3 4LN, UK – 01206 549444
I've always had a good experience with the surgery, with making appointments and also repeat prescriptions. I've made a few mistakes like forgetting to order things and sometimes needing to be seen at a particular time or at short notice and I've found that the staff have really tried to help. I'd also say that my GP Dr Rassell has been great, she's always listened to my concerns, has been kind and helpful and has always made follow up referrals for me.
120 Mile End Rd, Mile End, Colchester CO4 5XR, UK – 01206 752121
I have had surgery at 4 other private hospitals. This was the least comfortable. Pre op I was in placed in a bay, not a room, with a hard uncomfortable chair, no window and no tv. After surgery was returned to the bay and left on a very uncomfortable trolley, not a bed. Won’t be returning for surgery in a hurry.
Just been in the oak for postrate surgery with Mr sam datta this place rocks it's perfect in every way possible the nurses are fantastic along with all the admin and catering foods amazing ok down to Mr sam datta the man is top in his game got me in and done in under 2 weeks can't thank the man enoght after been in left waiting for months on the nhs with a catheter fitted not nice so a big thank you to all at the oaks and a big thank you to Mr sam datta
Lexden Rd, Colchester CO3 3NB, UK – 01206 747474
Staff is very helpful, kind and professional. It was very easy to find my way and to get the instructions needed. The building is very old and historical which automatically means some renovation may be needed, but nevertheless good service.
I would like to say thank you so much for the care I have had...second to none. Yes the car park isn't the best but they are always helpful and try to find you a space, but it's the medical care that is important to me and it's been wonderful in the eye clinic...thank you Dr Bansal...he told me what was happening the whole way through the procedure...the nurses were patient, kind, attentive...I can't say enough about everyone involved...during the procedure I had someone hold my hand the whole way through...I can't tell you how reassuring this was...it helped me to relax....I can see again, drive again....I have my life back thanks you everyone...Elizabeth Norton

I've done several stints of rehab here and whilst the later hospital is more locked down, clinical treatment is good and if you are scared, violent and have to be restrained, this is done with the minimum force, no deliberate brutality. It's cheaper than The Priory, so if you've gone on a trip you can't get yourself down from, ring their number and ask to speak with a crisis team or ask your GP to refer you. It can be very scary due to the nature of patients being emotionally disturbed. My only gripe is there is understaffing and presumably the pay isn't great for the staff so they need longer hours, which doesn't help this most highly stressed situation. Another problem I've encountered is issues surrounding section paperwork. You are entitled to legal representation and advocacy if you are to be held in a rehab facility against your will, this is not always forthcoming. Worst still patients under section have been asked to sign other paperwork, including adoption forms, immigration, criminal confession and other life changing issues when they are legally not in the capability to sign them. Essex Social Services are the most regular breakers of that law and this needs to be exposed. That said, there's a good community spirit among the patients/inmates (if it's got locks it's by definition a prison) , and great chances to learn from each other as well as the excellent staff and community volunteers of all grades. You can learn a lot there, it would be a good place to learn about mental health and Anglia Ruskin University has used the facility in in-work training schemes for nurses and doctors.

The buying experience from this seller on EBay was faultless. I recieved my item in a couple of days brand new and sealed. Unlike some sellers who list items as new but refurbished I can guarantee you will get exactly what you pay for. I have added these guys to my favourite seller as their stock is well impressive and again service delivery is excellent . Well recommended to all thanks to all,5 stars from me. Big Thanks and regards Damien.
Top service. Supplied the good used parts I needed to keep my bike on the road and delivery was next day. How could you get any better? Will be using again without a doubt 👍
Turner Rise Retail Park, Turner Rd, Mile End, Colchester CO4 5JR, UK – 01206 546545
Our waiter, Chris was extremely attentive and had the perfect personality for his job. The service was quick, accurate and efficient. There is a good choice of pizza and pasta meals, sides, desserts and drinks. There is an unlimited refill option on soft drinks with a machine for you to use to refill your own with a choice of fizzy drinks and syrup shots. There is a good children's menu which mainly mimics the adult menu in miniature. Kids love the ice cream factory dessert, where you can serve your own ice cream and top it with a choice of sauces and sweet treats. Our pizzas had a good amount of topping and we loved the cheese string moment as we lifted each slice from the pan - just perfect 👌. You can have free unlimited salad with every main meal. The salad bar was well stocked with a wide variety of items and was kept clean. We didn't finish our pizzas and were automatically offered a box to bring our leftovers home in. Although wheelchair friendly, I found it a little awkward to access the rest room due to the narrow door separating the restaurant from the toilets which was closed and didn't have the space for someone to hold open whilst getting myself through.
Just loved it. The restaurant was full as you would expect on a Saturday at lunch time. Staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. Service was fast and the cola endless. Two large pizzas with all the salad you can eat plus all the cola you can drink cost just over £40. Not cheap by any means but for a treat just right.

This lovely restaurant is a little gem. Step into Colchester's true Italian place. Forget those chains visit our own little Italian full of authentic dishes. Great service every time
The food here is sublime, exactly what you'd expect of a traditional little Italian place. The food is inexpensive; the service is personal and has a strong family feel; and the decor is spot on. From the quaint red and white tablecloths, to the intimate touches on the walls and the cozy interior design. The main waiter/owner is really friendly, singing as he goes around recommending the tiramisu (which was sublime). It would be an excellent date place and it's quality through and through, can't recommend it enough!

Twas a long time ago, in a distant place, when I last visited this school. It gave me great happiness. 10/10 would visit again.
I am in Year 6 at this school now (2017) and I'm about to do my SATs. The staff are so kind and caring, alot better than hamilton or any primary school in Colchester to be honest. A great primary school!

Colchester High School recognises and celebrates the brilliance of each individual child. Staff really care about the children and academically they help pupils to grow in confidence while challenging them to be the best they can. The site is a typical town centre venue so doesn’t have the spacious surroundings, grounds or parking of some private schools, but look past this and you will find a hidden gem of a school. My kids love it!
My daughter recently started at the High School in Reception and I can already see a difference in her- she’s so much more confident in herself and her academic progress has been remarkable. The staff have been very welcoming and the communication with parents is first class. The children are being given a really well rounded education and my daughter always comes home with lots of positive stories about her friends and the things she has learnt. I highly recommend this school!
